In 2023, Laura, the founder of Sillow, faced a daily struggle with her curly hair getting tangled and frizzy every morning. After trying numerous hair products and treatments without success, she sought advice from her dermatologist, who recommended using a silk pillowcase to reduce friction. Determined to find the perfect solution, Laura searched high and low for the best silk available. When she finally found it and started using it on her pillow, the results were immediate and impressive. She had discovered a forgotten beauty secret. With a background in fashion and a passion for beauty, Laura decided to share this secret with the world. The following year, she officially launched Sillow, the first silk pillowcase brand dedicated to enhancing beauty sleep by reducing hair breakage and skin creases. Laura collaborated closely with leading silk suppliers to create Sillow's signature silk. Specially commissioned and made to her exacting standards, using only the highest grade (6A) long fibre pure mulberry silk, Sillow silk offers the ultimate combination of shine, thickness, softness, and durability. Having experienced the challenges of uninspiring jobs in the past, Laura was committed to building not just a successful brand, but also a company culture where employees loved coming to work every day.
